Training & Development At TGM.

At The Good Marketer, we prioritise comprehensive training and development initiatives for both internal and external growth. We recognise how important career development is for our employees, offering an unlimited training budget throughout your time with us.

Once joining our team, we will provide an initial 6-month probationary period in which you will complete a training plan tailored to your role, enhancing your current marketing skills and equipping you for success. Continuous guidance will be provided to you throughout this period with weekly check-ins from your line manager, ensuring you have all the support needed.

You will take part in weekly/fortnightly training sessions hosted by our team, blending real-life examples with tasks, discussions and scenarios. These sessions will be both virtual or in-person and are designed to bridge skill gaps and share knowledge with one another in a collaborative environment.

Post-initial training, you will have the flexibility to find and partake in additional courses to further your development if you wish. Biannual performance reviews will also take place in February and August providing opportunities for pay rises and promotions based on achieved KPIs and discussions held with your line manager. These KPIs will include taking on new responsibilities, completing tasks and taking part in training courses.

The Good Marketer's Team Survey

We’ve been holding the TGM Round Table for some years now. It is essentially a completely open space, free of consequence and judgment, where our team can talk about TGM—what they like and what they would like to see change.

Pre-discussion, we send out an anonymous survey with a few key questions to get a feel for the basics. We provide statements and ask people how they feel on a scale of “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”.  

This year, though, we’ve decided to go public with our results.
