The Challenge
Camden Games are tabletop game creators, specialising in all things weird and wonderful.
When they approached us, Camden Games were about to debut their products at the UK Games Expo and needed a website ahead of the event.
As we were building a website from scratch, our main challenges were establishing the correct look & feel for the design and the tone of voice for the content. We were also up against the clock and needed to launch the fully formed website in just a matter of weeks.
Here’s how we did it.

The Solution
When designing Camden Games’ website, we kicked off with a discovery call to discuss their wants, needs and inspirations.
Our goal was to create a vibrant site that matched Camden Games’ wild and whacky energy – think bright colours, bold text and an interactive user experience.
The site features standard design elements and bespoke touches like a rocking pear graphic, video content, and a refer a friend banner.
In addition to a bright & bold design, Camden Games’ site needed to excel in terms of functionality and user experience.
By combining standard Shopify functionality and some bespoke elements, we could show products that were available to buy, pre-order and coming soon.
As well as the design, the content was a crucial part of the success of the Camden Games website. With the brand being right at the start of their journey, we were able to work with the team to help them establish a tone of voice that felt authentic and that they could carry through their future marketing.
Our in-house copywriters worked with the team at Camden Games to understand and take on their fun and edgy tone of voice and created content for every page on the site to help bring the build to life.
